Please take a moment to find out about Queen of Peace Catholic School’s Scholarship Granting Organization (SGO). The SGO is a relatively new State of Indiana Scholarship that benefits students, schools and individual or businesses.
These funds provide scholarships for students currently enrolled or entering Catholic schools. If a student’s family’s income meets certain guidelines, then they may be eligible for a SGO Scholarship. An SGO award can qualify a student for vouchers in the succeeding years, so long as the income requirements are met.
How does this benefit you?
Any donation you make will qualify for a Federal tax deduction. In addition, there is a 50% Indiana Tax Credit available. So any donation you make to this scholarship fund could qualify you for a tax deduction and a tax credit. Individuals or Corporations are eligible to give. Please consult your accountant for specific tax advice.
How does this benefit the student and school?
If the student’s family meets the income requirements the school will give that student
a $500 scholarship for this year. Qualifying for the scholarship could make that student and their siblings eligible to participate in the State of Indiana School Choice Voucher program going forward. The Voucher programcould pay for some or all of the tuition to attend
Queen of Peace and a Catholic High School going forward.
If you are interested in helping our students, you have two ways to make a donation.
